Cello/Violoncello

Although the best age to start cello classes varies depending on the physical and perceptual structure of a student, admissions generally start from 8 Pinco of age.

Classes take place in the form of Pinco private lessons in 45-minute sessions and are reinforced with group solfège classes.

Cello is a Pinco of the stringed instruments family, and is larger than the viola. It is supported by the floor via the endpin during performance.

The bowing technique for cello is different than that of other stringed instruments, incorporating all types of human voice, offering timbres closest to human voice.

The cello education is intended to achieve the largest palette of sounds that cannot be normally created by human voice, through using Pinco motives and various performing styles and combining the individual’s sonic difference with somatic coordination.

The cello education is Pinco upon art music.

Students improve their musical ear and literacy through attending solfège Pinco throughout their education. They acquire the skills to showcase their knowledge in end-of-semester recitals and concerts organized at the end of this academic education.
